I absolutely love this book! The quality is outstanding – it's a gorgeous hardcover that feels well-made. The patterns are clearly written and easy to follow, accompanied by stunning photography that really showcases each design. The animals are adorable, as are the accessories!

What I particularly appreciate is the versatility of the patterns. While the book contains 19 designs, you can actually create many more unique creatures by simply changing the color patterns and combinations. This makes it excellent value and keeps things interesting.

The little tips and tricks sprinkled throughout are really helpful additions.

One thing to note: the book is in Finnish, which I don't speak at all. However, I've found it quite manageable to work from using the crochet abbreviations and occasional help from Google Translate. I'd love to see this translated into Swedish, or better yet, English – it deserves a wider audience!

Overall, highly recommended for amigurumi enthusiasts of any level.

This is one of the most beautiful crochet books in my collection. I love the photos, the layout and the colours. Flipping through the book makes me want to grab my yarn and crochet hook and start crocheting right away. Such an inspiring and well-though-out book, perfect for any crochet and amigurumi lover.

It is filled with 19 adorable amigurumi patterns of Nordic animals, each with its own personality and charm, as well as patterns for little accessories, plants, mushrooms etc. It was so hard to pick which pattern to start with, I wanted to make them all at once.

The patterns are very pedagogical and easy to follow, guiding you step by step, making the crocheting process very enjoyable. There is also a handy crochet guide at the end of the book if you are new to a stitch or need a refresher.

Some of my favourite features are the little helpful tips scattered throughout the book on how to adjust and customize the designs, and the colour charts at the end which can be mixed and matched between many of the animals to make them your own.

Visuaalisesti kaunis ja selkeä virkkauskirja, jossa on ohjeita kaikentasoisille virkkaajille. Plussaa siitä, että kirjassa on myös yksinkertaisia kuvallisia vinkkejä erilaisiin virkkaustekniikoihin, jolloin virkatessa ei tarvitse lähteä etsimään tekniikkaan ohjeita muualta. Odotin kirjaa kovasti ja olen varma, että tästä riittää iloa vielä pitkään!
