A craft teacher and crochet toy designer based in Helsinki, Finland. I love crocheting colorful amigurumi, and I’m so excited to help you get started on creating your own cute toys too!
I've always been passionate about being creative and exploring new techniques and crafts. When I was 13, my mum showed me a pattern for a crocheted pig in a magazine. At that point, I had never heard of amigurumi, and the word meant nothing to me.
But with my mum's help and the basic crochet knowledge I acquired in primary school, I managed to figure it out. And that's when I fell in love with crochet so hard that I decided a coupe of years later to study craft teaching and crate a crochet business.
The goal of this booklet is to assist beginner crocheters in creating their first amigurumi with ease. It includes everything you need to know (from which materials to choose to how to sew together all the pieces) to get started. No more roaming around the internet and to try figure out everything on your own.
