My crochet alongs are fun digital events where you get to discover a brand new amigurumi, part by part, together with other amigurumi makers during a certain period of time.
I hosted my first CAL in December 2018 for a small crowd of amigurumi enthusiasts. Ralf the moose was the first amigurumi we crocheted together and he stole many hearts that December. Since then my annual crochet alongs have grown rapidly and over 5000 people have participated so far.
The Happy Amigurumi Club is a positive and inspiring community for amigurumi makers who like to crochet and discover new amigurumi designs together with other like-minded people.
The goal is to inspire and encourage you (and me) to grab that hook and weave in those ends regularly. Which will boost our creativity, decrease our stress levels and in the long run make us happier crocheters.

The Spring CAL 2024s secret PDF pattern is divided into 6 pieces + assembling instructions. The parts will be sent to your inbox 1-2 days apart and we'll wrap up the crochet along with a live assembling party (hosted on YouTube) on Friday the 15th of March.There will also be a giveaway that you automatically participate in when you publish a picture of your finished amigurumi in the Facebook group or on Instagram usning the #garnknutencalparty hashtag before 31st of March.

The choice of yarn and hook is completely up to you and your personal taste, but I recommend using an environmentally friendly yarn or something from your stash.
- Karma Cotton by Kremke Soul Wool (50g = 105m)
YARN (50g = 105m)
B – Pink (<50g)
C – White (<10g)
D – Black (<5g)
OTHER MATERIAL
- Crochet hook in size 3.50 mm
- Stuffing
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pins (optional)
- Stitch marker (optional)
ABBREVIATIONS US-terms

st - stitch
ch - chain stitch
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
BLO - back loop
FLO - front loop
cc - change color
[…]x… - repeat the instructions in the brackets x-times
(…) - the number of stitches at the end of the round.
KEEP THIS IN MIND
- Make sure you crochet pretty tight all the way, so you don’t get large holes between the stitches. If you crochet loosely, I suggest you test a smaller hook size (ex. 3.00 mm) so that the stuffing doesn‘t show once you‘ve filled the toy.
- All parts will be worked in spirals (if the pattern doesn’t say otherwise) - so you don‘t have to think about closing the rounds.
- A stitch marker can help you keep track of the beginning of your rows.

Hi Tracy! I’m so excited too, can’t wait to see how your amigurumi turns out! :D
I decided that I would get the yarn pack ,it arrived yesterday, not normally a pink lover but these pinks work great together.
Now I can’t wait for the 1st of March, I’m really looking forwards to this one.
