Are you ready for the first mystery crochet along for this year?!
MYSTERY CROCHET ALONG = Fun digital events where you get to discover a brand new amigurumi, part by part, together with other amigurumi makers during a certain period of time.
Down below you'll find abbreviations, colour keys, and other things that are good to know before the Spring Splash crochet along starts Monday the 3rd of March. Welcome to the party!

This years secret PDF pattern is divided into 7 pieces + assembling instructions. The parts will be sent to your inbox 1-2 days apart and we'll wrap up the crochet along with a live assembling party (hosted on YouTube) on Wednesday the 19th of March at 8 PM (Helsinki time).

The choice of yarn and hook is completely up to you and your personal taste, but I recommend using an environmentally friendly yarn or something from your stash.

Alba cotton by BC garn (50 g = 160 m)
SPORT WEIGHT YARN (50 g = 160 m)
A – Green, nr 09 (<50 g)
B – White, nr 16 (<30 g)
C – Black, nr 22 (<5 g)
OTHER MATERIALS
- Crochet hook in size 3.00 mm
- Stuffing
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pins (optional)
- Stitch marker (optional)
ABBREVIATIONS US-terms

r - round
st - stitch
ch - chain stitch
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
cc - change colour
[…]x… - repeat the instructions in the brackets x-times
(…) - the number of stitches at the end of the round.
KEEP THIS IN MIND
- Make sure you crochet pretty tight all the way, so you don’t get large holes between the stitches. If you crochet loosely, I suggest you test a smaller hook size (e.g. 2.50 mm) so that the stuffing doesn‘t show once you‘ve filled the toy.
- All parts will be worked in spirals (if the pattern doesn’t say otherwise) - so you don‘t have to think about closing the rounds.
- A stitch marker can help you keep track of the beginning of your rows.
